Pressed Flower Wall Hanging. I have loved exploring the ancient art of pressing flowers alongside floriography (the symbolic meaning of flowers), over our NZ spring/summer season when there are so many blooms around.
This art form allows us to hold in time nature's beautiful flowers and foliage, and enjoy their moment for years to come. They bring back memories of a time past where things were simpler and life was slower, and we took the time to wander and wonder.
The bloom is mounted on hand-made mulberry paper and a 7"X9" (178X229mm) canvas panel, with a simple hook to hang on the wall. Each comes with the name of the flower and its symbolic meaning, e.g, Cosmos - "peace, harmony, balance".
Buy as a single item, or multiple. Look great hung as multiples on a wall.
