I have intentionally listed prices here to give you a feel for what to expect and
help you begin to imagine what’s possible within your budget.
Check these out as a starting point., and we can go from there.
Your final quote will be tailored to your own beautiful and personal design choice and desired florals..
Specialty and premium blooms — [peonies, orchids, protea, garden roses and other
sought-after blooms] — carry a higher cost and are priced accordingly. Other flowers depend
on the season and availability.

Why are wedding flowers so expensive?
- one of the most commonly asked questions -
When you see a beautiful bouquet or floral installation, you’re seeing the finished piece. What you probably don’t see is everything that happens before the first flower is even placed.
It begins with you -
- Listening to your ideas, viewing your Pinterest boards, your favourite flowers, the flowers that hold meaning for you, and getting to know the feeling you want your wedding day to have
- From there, interpreting your vision into a floral design that feels personal to you
- There’s the time spent consulting with you — face-to-face, by email, text and phone — along with the experience and knowledge required that goes into making decisions around style and choices
- Flower choice, seasonality and availability all play a part in the cost. Specialty flowers and highly sought-after blooms naturally sit at a higher price point, often working with you to decide on seasonal alternatives that can create the same beautiful feeling in a more considered way
- Behind every floral design is a flower recipe — working out exactly how many stems and which varieties are needed to create the shape, movement, colour and fullness you have imagined
- Orders are placed, often with several different suppliers, and often months out to make sure their availability [with other wedding florists doing the same, demand can be high]
- Consultation with vendors to ensure smooth set and permissions
- Flowers arrive in boxes and buckets — often many of them — and each stem needs to be checked, cleaned and conditioned. Leaves and thorns are removed. Some flowers are placed in the chiller to stop them from blooming too soon, others are left out to encourage them to bloom at just the right time. Some designs require foraging for special foliages, pods, curls, grasses and fronds
- Flowers can arrive late or not in the condition expected. So working with wholesalers to find replacements and making sure your wedding flowers are still everything they should be
- Floral design mechanics are sorted — wire, tape, ribbons, vessels, structures and hireage
- Couriers ordered, delivery, travel, set-up and pack-down organised
